Image of Kayla Cooper's Learning Theory Matrix This weeks activity required me to not only learn what a matrix was but to refresh up on blogging. It has been quite a while since I have blogged. While I was creating this matrix I used the resources that Dr. Gaston recommended. I also found this website helpful when I was researching connectivism. ( https://www.learning-theories.com/connectivism-siemens-downes.html ) While I was creating this matrix, I was finding examples of technology that could be used in my classroom as a fourth grade teacher. Each app and website that I mentioned is something that I have implemented in my classroom or plan on implementing. Also, while I was creating this matrix I found it a little difficult to put a description into one sentence for each theory. I feel as it takes a little more than one sentence to describe the theory. All in all, I enjoyed creating this matrix and found it very useful for my classroom now.
I love the video clips. Especially the kids! The music and the text within! -Sydney
ReplyDeleteI loved watching your video and seeing the kids incorporated into your video as well, very unique! I struggled with this assignment mainly because I wanted to use I-Movie because I am very familiar with that software but for some reason I could not find it on the app store and eventually moved along to using another software. It is great to see that you had better results with I-Movie than I did! Awesome job!

ReplyDeleteHi Kayla,
ReplyDeleteCool video! Great use of the kids and titles! It looks like they enjoy learning and collaborating together,
I enjoyed your video, at my school we do things with iMovie and our kids really enjoy it! I hope that you continue to use it but it is definitely a learning curve!
ReplyDeleteHey Kayla !
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed watching your video. I love how you incorporated the kids in the video. It is always great to show a glimpse of our real world. I attempted to use MAC software before and it was a fail, I ran right back to Windows. I had problems with the software on my end as well, it's always a good way to learn hands on for the next go around. I could not tell how you had any problems, your video was great !
